After visiting family over Easter weekend in Nevada I headed to Phoenix on Monday, April 2, 2018 to see the Diamondbacks host the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Dodger fan were well represented at Chase Field on this Monday night. San Francisco Giants vs. Los Angeles Dodgers in Los Angeles, California
I would watch the Cubs play the Dodgers on television as a kid and kind of adopted the Dodgers as my second National League team while growing up. I always hoped (and still do) to see the Cubs play at Dodger Stadium. If I could not see the Cubs play the second best game had to be against the Dodgers greatest rival the Giants from just up the road in San Francisco on March, 30, 2018.

We headed to the land of Cheese not for their fantastic Irish Fest – but to watch our Cubs take on the Brewers on a Sunday afternoon. This might have just been the game that propelled the Cubs into the playoffs for the third straight year.

You could not ask for a better weekend of baseball than we had at Pittsburgh in June 2017. Okay, a sweep would have made it a just a little better. Weather was beautiful and the rain waited until we were headed out of town to start on Sunday evening.

The Inaugural Baseball Road Trip took us to Atlanta. This was a trip of firsts and lasts as it was our first official road trip and our last visit to watch the Cubs play at Turner Field.
