Road Trip 2024: Negro League Baseball Museum

On Saturday afternoon, we explored the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum at 18th & Vine in Kansas City, a landmark dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich history of African-American baseball and its significant impact on social progress in America. Upon arrival, we found that many other Cubs fans, also in town for the series, had the same idea to visit the museum. Road Trip 2024 – Kansas City – Game 2

Game 2 of the Cubs vs. Royals series was a thrilling turnaround from the first game, showcasing  a Cubs’ explosive offense that is rarely seen of late. With stellar pitching from Shota Imanaga and a clutch pinch-hit grand slam home run by Patrick Wisdom, the Cubs secured a 9-4 victory over the Royals. This exciting win was the perfect conclusion to our two games at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, making our visit truly memorable.
