It was a beautiful day for baseball but we ended up two hours to the East on the Campus of the University of Notre Dame. These people really know how to throw a party as the University of Notre Dame hosted Temple University. Temple played good football early but the athleticism of Notre Dame soon took over as Notre Dame went onto score the victory 49 to 16.
Notre Dame was the place where my Father’s sports passion was developed. He did not only respect the educational institution that is Notre Dame, he loved Notre Dame football. While I still root for the Irish (most of the time) my main sports team has become the Chicago Cubs and I hope I root for them with the same passion of my Father.
